What is justice? It is the quality of being fair and morally upright. When we experience injustice, it may feel like God has stepped out of His throne. But part of His unchangeable character is that He is THE God of Justice. When we doubt this, did you know that we weary Him?
Malachi 2:17 says You have wearied the LORD with your words. “How have we wearied him?” you ask. By saying, “All who do evil are good in the eyes of the LORD, and he is pleased with them” or “Where is the God of justice?” Isaiah 30:17b says For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!
Dear Lord, Please forgive me for thinking that You have sided with the unjust when I continue to see injustice. I will trust and praise You that You sit enthroned as King over all and You are just. Help me to give in to Your will and follow You. Help me surrender the offenses against me into You hands. I long for the day when any recurring thoughts of the offenses will only bring out in me Your kind of love and Your kind of peace.
Luke 18:7 says And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8 I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”
Lord, please increase my faith and make it steadfast for You are trustworthy and holy. Muzzle my mouth and make me patient as I lift up my pleas to You, my Rock, my Hope, and my Deliverer. I already praise You for You are THE God of Justice in Jesus’s name Amen.
