Cactus Club is one of my favorite places to get something to eat. When I’m not monotonously ordering my super favorite Tuna Stack (created by chef rob feenie. ocean wise™ ahi, citrus tamari vinaigrette, nori, sesame, avocado, micro cilantro, wonton chips), I love this fresh Tuna Poke Bowl (sesame ginger ocean wise™ ahi, jasmine rice, mango, cucumber, avocado, edamame, radish, crispy tempura). Don’t wait for the tempura shrimp though. The “tempura” only refers to the crispy batter around what would have been a shrimp. Very satisfying and light. (Eating the rice is optional, of course).
The beloved enjoyed his mini burgers. There’s beef, cheddar bacon, garden burgers to choose from.
My lovely single serving of caramel mousse:Voila! And we are satisfied.
p.s. This branch is slightly smaller than the ones I’ve been to. Try to come for early or late lunch or dinner to avoid the crowds.
p.p.s. We were originally coming to De Dutch but we discovered that the branch on Robson Street has already closed.
