Sometimes I do not know what to pray for…when I feel like I had already prayed every prayer there is. These past few months have toured me through valleys of the shadow of death. God had prepared me for this yet I feel anything but prepared. When we experience times like these, God’s Holy Spirit Himself will pray on our behalf, knowing what’s in our hearts and what’s in God’s.

Romans 8:26 And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. 27 And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers[l] in harmony with God’s own will

Dear Holy Spirit,
I trust You to pray on my behalf. You will only have holy purposes for me. You are my almighty, all-knowing, ever-present Help through every circumstance. Even when I run out of words to speak, You intercede for me in my weakness. You will strengthen and enable me to have the right thoughts and desires and though apart from You I can not do anything good, You will enable me by Your almighty power and unfathomable love to walk with You. Transform me to be less like me and more like You. In Jesus’s name amen
