God’s Justice Can’t Be Turned By Donations or Earthly Power

It is a comfort that God’s justice does not change.

What is wrong is wrong. What is right is right. He will not suddenly say that what is wrong is right or what is right is wrong when someone offers up money, food, and other donations. No drama of any kind, no parade, no outwardly shows will turn God’s justice.

What kind of world would we live in if God could be bribed.  Is a god who will yield to corruption of justice given the right price or the right noodles worth following? What if someone outbid you or had better noodles  than yours?

Deuteronomy 10:17 says “For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes.”

Romans 2:11 says that He does not play favourites, shows no partiality, for He is no respecter of persons.

Basic to His character is holiness.

Isaiah 6:3b “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of His glory”

If there are instances when followers of God can be bribed, they are wrong, they are not The Lord.  Even The Lord would disapprove of them.  Even if people find money to travel from country to country to pay created gods to grant them license to continue in their lifestyle of sin, the justice of God The Creator will not get corrupted.

God remains the same. He is the righteous God of Justice.  He gets wearied when we doubt that.

Malachi 2:17  You have wearied the Lord with your words. “How have we wearied him?” you ask. By saying, “All who do evil are good in the eyes of the Lord, and he is pleased with them” or “Where is the God of justice?”

I praise You, Lord, for You are incorruptible.  You are The God of Justice.  At the end of the day, Your justice is perfect.
