Do You Sometimes Feel Like You Don’t Matter?

In her book, Unstoppable, Christine Caine pointed out that when Jesus fed the five thousand, that head count referred to only the men.

John 6:10 Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” There was plenty of grass in that place, and they sat down (about five thousand men were there).

The boy who had five loaves and two fish was not counted among the five thousand. But it was the boy who was uncounted who was used to be the channel of blessing for everyone—–the five thousand men, the accompanying women, and children, with twelve baskets of leftovers!

In the spiritual relay you are in, you don’t have to do everything. You just need to recognise the part that you are supposed to play, and do it faithfully whether big or small.

You count. You matter. Do whatever small thing you know God is asking you to do. That could be the very thing God will use to be a blessing to many!
