Grape-Picking at Kobe Fruit Flower Park

Kobe Fruit Flower Park is a lovely family destination with a ride park, go-kart, farm circus, fairy tale amusement park, Monkeys Theater, Forest of Horse Land, farm bus, putter golf, onsen, pool plaza, restaurants, farm circus market, plant factory, greenhouse, agricultural product processing plant, souvenir shop, and my favorite— gardens and fruit picking!

The garden landscape from the main entrance is expansive and well manicured.

Came to pick some fruit🍇🍐 but got to see a hill of (green) hydrangeas, too!

If you have elderly companions in your party, just letting you know that to get to the orchards, you go down these steps at the hydrangea hill, then down this landing:

img_5767At the time I came here in late August, the temperature was about 34C/ 93 F. You might want to take with you some water and cooling towels.  At the bottom of the hill is the fruit picking area. Separate payments per variety of fruit. For the price you pay, eat all you want while there but whatever you can’t finish, you pay for by weight (of grapes, not yours)😂.

Toshiko-san, my kind and wonderful Kobe guide from Voyagin, was ready with her picnic mat.

The grapes were plump, juicy, sweet, at their prime and the vines were starting to stoop low with the weight of the grapes. “Me!” “Pick me!” The grapes cried!

With the basket, scissors, and plastic bags provided at the entrance, I set out to snip snip away. And it was “Eat ’til you drop!’🍇😋😍time. [Please click the Play icon below 🙂 ]

[Thru the grape picking activity, the Lord just reminded me that the fruit of the Holy Spirit is sometimes compared to grapes because it is one fruit 🍇 but with many parts). If I’m impatient or lacking self-control or any of the other parts, I need to ask to be filled with the Holy Spirit to enable me to develop and manifest those areas. #notetoself (“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” Gal 5:22-23 NIV)]

Pears were also in season!🍐😍

Hope you can enjoy this one day!
