There was a news wave of deaths in the last week (suicide, accidental falling off a condo balcony, murder, transport accident, suicide bomber) which reminded me that Christmas  with its global reputation for being the most wonderful time of the year could be the saddest for some people… precisely because it is supposed to be the happiest.

But what if something that wasn’t supposed to happen does?
