Closing My Makati Store

“It’s like a relative is dying,” ran my thoughts with a whiff of sadness two weeks ago in anticipation of closing my Makati store.

.

Then this passage came to mind: “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens…He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart.” Ecc 3:1, 11a .

The Lord has appointed seasons which necessarily come with change. Singly, each season has its purpose but it will usher in the next. Through the changes, not only in business but in life, these things remain: I am His child (John 1:12), He has a good plan (Jer 29:11), in all things He works for my good (Rom 8:28) and He is not finished yet (Phil 2:13). Disappointment only comes when we blur the now with forever. First and foremost, He holds my life from eternity past to eternity future; the day-to-day, year-to-year changes will constitute a dot.

The sooner I understand that the One who always remains goes before and with me, the easier I can let go everything else.

.

So as I say “goodnight” to sweet little store, I am looking forward to the next chapter in store! 🙏❤️😊

.

With the more-convenient-for-everyone option of fresh cakes from Kapitolyo commissary delivered straight to where you are (home, office, condo, farm, high-rise unit), the question I have is, “Why didn’t I think of this sooner?” Oh yeah, there is a time for everything. 😃 .

.

And lest we forget, Kapitolyo store is open! See you there!!!😍

    1. Hello Frances!!! Yes!! With the increase of delivery options, now the hindrances to getting a cake (no car, no driver, no time, can’t drive, heavy traffic, afraid of Edsa, too far, tiring to find parking) are removed! Anyone anytime anywhere Lalamove and Grab go can have cakes delivered to where they are!:) thank you for dropping by here Frances!:)
