How to Restore Broken Relationships (JP and Roochie Masakayan Testimony)

Notes to self on “How to Restore Relationships” from Paul Tanchi’s Message 4/29/18:
“1. Repent- Get right with your vertical relationship (with God by repenting/ confessing) and it follows that you get right with your horizontal relationship (others).
2. Forgive – When you pray blessing for the person and that (s)he come to know the Lord, you overcome evil with good.
3. Lovingly Initiate- only after getting it right with God and you have forgiven (so that you will have the right attitude), when you confront the person, you can do it lovingly (and productively). Gal 6:1-2 Restore the person gently.

Questions to ask:
How have I hurt you?
How can I improve?
Will you forgive me?

If they don’t want to be restored, the bible says Rom 12:18 “If it is possible as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” You are accountable for your share only.

If you have not come to the point in your life where you can forgive, maybe you have not yet experienced the forgiveness that Jesus offers. He is the Restorer of relationships. If you receive Him, He will enter your life, give you the ability to forgive and restore your relationships. But you need to be restored in your relationship with Him.
Dear Jesus, I repent. I turn from my ways. I have been living my life my way. Forgiveness is not cheap, it cost You Your life. Thank You for paying the penalty for my sins. I Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my heart. I need You. Come into my life, be my Lord, Master, Savior. Help me to be able to forgive as You have forgiven me.”

Thank you, Paul Tanchi, Pastor JP and Roochie. May the Lord continue to bless you and use you mightily to remind others that there is hope for broken relationships.
