Pear and Chestnut Picking

Gained a better appreciation for each chestnut bite. Even with gloves, the chestnut 🌰 husks are too prickly. We just picked the ripe ones that already fell to the ground. Pears came early this year so the trees were not fruit-laden. The boss explained how dependent farming is on nature [and for me, as with every yield, God’s grace].

“I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭3:6-7‬ ‭NIV‬‬
