Google Maps prematurely says “You have reached your destination” one building away from the actual Owl Cafe.  [Map] If this hasn’t been corrected and the building in front of you doesn’t look like an owl cafe, walk a little further and look for these signs:

Briefing about how to approach the owls; Guests are asked to be mindful of having soft volume for voices, no flash photography, and where the owls mind and do not mind being touched.

The entrance fee comes with a drink of choice. The litchi juice was pretty good and refreshing.

I had mixed feelings… pity seeing the owls’ feet stuck to their wood perches yet gaining a greater appreciation of owls and how they are responsive and smart. They are not scary. They are quite gentle. Is this a good experience for them to interact with humans? Arashu, the white owl who freely roams the chairs and tables at the cafe, seems to be pleased interacting with humans. Might they be happy like dogs are happy to have the companionship of humans?

 

I was looking for answers in the bible and found as possible answer:

Genesis 1:28 God blessed them (mankind) and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
