Wouldn’t it be wonderful to be told every day words of love that make you know for sure that with the one to whom you belong, it’s you for him and him for you throughout life? And when he takes you in his arms and enters your heart, his presence banishes your pains and burdens such that even when these remain, you gain a new perspective and see life through rose-colored glasses… You can be joyful?
Yes I would. That’s one of the reasons I like the song, La Vie En Rose. For each of us whether male or female, that endless love (never dying) is from the One who died for you and me, Jesus Christ.
This video was taken when dzFE Family Matters team, Ms. Haydee Sampang and Bishop Jonel Millan guested me in a musical journey. My dear sisters in Christ, Malu Ortiz and Ann Dy are with me.
Excerpts from La Vie En Rose (English Translation)] Life in Rosy Hues
When he takes me in his arms
And speaks softly to me,
I see life in rosy hues.
He tells me words of love,
Words of every day,
And in them I become something.
He has entered my heart,
A part of happiness
Whereof I understand the reason.
It’s he for me and I for him, throughout life,
He has told me, he has sworn to me, for life.
And from the things that I sense,
Now I can feel within me
My heart that beats.
In endless nights of love,
A great delight that comes about,
The pains and bothers are banished,
Happy, happy to die of love.
Excerpts of FRENCH Version as sung in video:
Quand il me prend dans ses bras
Qu’il me parle tout bas
Je vois la vie en rose.
Il me dit des mots d’amour
Des mots de tous les jours
Et ça me fait quelque chose.
Il est entré dans mon coeur
Une part de bonheur
Dont je connais la cause.
C’est lui pour moi. Moi pour lui dans la vie
Il me l’a dit, l’a juré pour la vie.
Et dès que je l’aperçois
Alors je sens en moi
Mon coeur qui bat
