Saiko Iyashino-Sato Nenba

The view on the way is as much an attraction as the destination itself! After driving by Saiko Lake (one of the five Fuji Lakes), nestled on a mountain is Saiko Iyashino-Sato Nenba, an ancient Japanese village open-air museum with twenty thatched roof houses that depict traditional historical Japan although some of the structures now provide services for today’s traveler such as ice cream and souvenir sale 🙂
